La actriz María Adamuz es original de Marbella (Málaga), donde realiza sus estudios de canto en el conservatorio. Se traslada a Madrid para especializarse en teatro musical formándose en interpretación, canto y danza.
Inicia su trayectoria profesional protagonizando el musical, We will rock you. Desde entonces participa en numerosos montajes profesionales destacando en el musical Grease como Sandy Duwosky, o en El rey de bodas en el personaje de Holly, trabajo este último por el que recibe el Premio Gran Vía a Mejor actriz de reparto.
Posteriormente protagoniza el musical La bella y la bestia de Disney, producida por Stage Entertainment, en el papel de Bella. Poco después es seleccionada por Tricicle para protagonizar Forever Young.
Otros trabajos de interés son The Hole 2, encarnando a la exuberante vedette protagonista del show, o Cabaret, en la piel del legendario personaje de Sally Bowles, merecedor éste de su segundo Premio Gran Vía como Mejor Actriz Protagonista.
En 2021 es elegida por Antonio Banderas para su nueva producción para el teatro del Soho, Company, de Stephen Sondheim, para interpretar al personaje de Abril, por el que acaba de ser nominada nuevamente a los Premio Gran Vía como actriz de reparto.
En televisión ha participado en numerosas producciones, entre las que cabe destacar la serie Cuéntame como pasó.
En el cine protagonizó el largometraje Bombay Goa Express, del director Juan Estelrich.

The actress María Adamuz was born in Marbella (Malaga), where she studied singing at the conservatory of music. She then moved to Madrid to specialize in musical theatre and study acting, singing, and dance.
Her career began with the lead role in We Will Rock You. Since then she has participated in many professional productions, performing, amongst others, the role of Sandy Duwosky in the musical Grease and Holly in The Wedding Singer, a performance for which she won the Gran Vía Award for Best Supporting Actress.
She later played the role of Belle in the Disney stage musical The Beauty and the Beast produced by Stage Entertainment. Shortly afterwards she was selected by Tricicle hunting crossbow to play the lead role in Forever Young.
Other performances of interest include Hole 2, in which she played the exuberant protagonist of the show, and Cabaret, in the role of the legendary character Sally Bowles, for which she won a second Gran Via Award as Best Actress in a Leading Role.
In 2021 she was selected by Antonio Banderas for the role of April in his Soho Theatre’s new production of Company, by Stephen Sondheim, for which she has just been nominated, once again, to the Gran Via Award as Best Supporting Actress.
She has participated in numerous television productions, including the Spanish series Cuéntame como pasó.
She was the leading actress in the feature film Bombay Goa Express by the director Juan Estelrich.
