Luis Regidor Paín


Nace en Cáceres (España) en 1985 y empieza en la música con su padre, el cantautor extremeño Luis Regidor. Formado en guitarra clásica en los conservatorios superiores y universidades de Cáceres (Ricardo Gallén), Córdoba (Javier Riba) y Düsseldorf (Master en la Robert Schumann Hochschule con Joaquín Clerch), y Master en Contemporary Performance en canto jazz en Berklee Valencia. Ganador del 2o premio del Montreux Jazz Competition del Montreux Jazz Festival con Quincy Jones como presidente del jurado y 2o premio en el Festival Internacional de guitarra de Córdoba.

Ha sido profesor de canto de Berklee Network - Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador). Ha realizado conciertos por Europa, Asia, USA , Cuba, Sudamérica y África, tanto de guitarra clásica y eléctrica, guitarra con orquesta, música de cámara, como cantante en coros, formaciones de jazz, funk, latin, rock, brasil, etc.

Algunos de los artistas con los que ha colaborado son: Patrice Rushen, Perico Sambeat, Alain Pérez, David Arnold, Lou Marini, Rossy de Palma, Edu Soto, Los Estanques, José Carra, Michael Olivera, Miryam Latrece, 23 Collective, Celso Machado, Roque Baños, etc. Ha realizado numerosas grabaciones como cantante, guitarrista y compositor. Actualmente reside en Madrid y es el cantante/guitarista de Red House Revival, además de trabajar con músicos de la escena nacional e internacional de numerosos estilos.

The lyric soprano Alba Chantar was born in Ronda. After moving to Malaga she started studying singing with Francisco Heredia. She finished her voice studies at the Superior Conservatory of Malaga in 2016. She has also had lessons with Cecilia Gallego, Gerardo López, Carlos Aransay, Ricardo Estrada, Ana Luisa Chova, Rubén Fernández- Aguirre, David Mason, Kennedy Moretti and Carlos Álvarez, amongst others.

Winner of an award at the 5th Contest of Young Performers of Ancient Music of Malaga, she obtained honourable mentions at the 2nd and 3rd Lied and Concert Song Contest Fidela Campiña, and first prize at the 23rd  MálagaCrea Competition for Young Performers.  In 2016 she won second prize at the Pedro Bote Contest for Young Performers Pedro Bote, and in 2018 the prize for Best Performer of Zarzuela at the 35th International Singing Competition of the city of Logroño.

She was selected to form part of the World Youth Choir and participate in the 2009 and 2010 world tours. She has worked with the Malaga Provincial Symphony Orchestra, the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cordoba Philharmonic Orchestra, and with the Bilbao Orkesta Sinfonikoa, amongst others, and has performed under the baton of conductors that include Manuel Hernández-Silva, Arturo Díez Boscovich, Lorenzo Ramos, Francesco Iván Ciampa, Jose María Moreno Valiente, Josep Vila I Casañas y Edmon Colomer.

The following are some of the noteworthy roles of her repertoire: Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), Serpina (The Maid Turned Mistress), Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro), Papagena (The Magic Flute), Despina (Cosi fan tutte), Norina (Don Pasquale), Amina (The Sleepwalker), Gilda (Rigoletto), Isaure (Jérusalem) and Francisquita (Doña Francisquita), amongst others. In the field of oratorios, her repertoire includes Stabat Mater (G. B. Pergolesi), The Messiah (G. F. Haendel), Magnificat (J. S. Bach), Gloria (A. Vivaldi) and Carmina Burana (C. Orff), as well as the Coronation Mass, Requiem, Davide Penitente and Mass in C Minor by W. A. Mozart.
